Well, what’s left of it anyway. As tribute to Freddie Mercury’s career the drummer and guitarist plan to go on tour with former American Idol finalist Adam Lambert. Man American Idol likes being brought up lately doesn’t it?

Lambert had this to say regarding the tour: “The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some f*****g great songs… It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of.”

Let us hope so. I’m torn on whether or not Lambert should’ve won Idol a couple years ago. I personally found him the greater talent not only musically, but in terms of entertainment as well. Compared to that other contestant anyway. The guy made so little impact on me I can’t even remember the guy’s name.On the other hand Lambert has had quite the amount of success since American Idol. You ave to be doing something right to earn the honor of working with Queen fro crying out loud. Old they may be, but the impact they have had on the music world is just too great. I welcome the opportunity to honor real and good music while we still can. unlike the schlock and talking in a stupid manner with rhythmical accompaniment that passes for music today.

Nothing set in stone in the way of paper work yet, but they’re planning on dates. So, in my opinion it seems like it will end up happening.
